In recent years, Active learning has been at the center of many discussion related to the field of education. AL can bring students and teachers together in a workgroup-based environment. Also, it can increase engagement by directly involving students in the learning process.
This workshop is primarily for people who already know the basic concepts of Active Learning and would like to learn different ways of engaging students in collaborative activities and group work. By discussing different strategies and doing learning activities we will think how to properly incorporate them into your classes.
This is an intermediate level workshop for people with some experience in using Active Learning techniques. Beginners are advised to take Workshop on introducing Active Learning in your classes.
