harassment at the university”

Date and time
2019.03.18 (Mon) 16:00-17:30
Venue
Hokkaido University Multimedia Education Building, 3rd Floor, Studio type Seminar Room

Unfortunately, various harassment problems have arisen at universities throughout the country and countermeasures are urgently needed. Even though you may think that “it was not intended” or “it was a part of guidance I also provide to other students,” the problem is how the other person sees it.
Therefore, the Center for Teaching and Learning started a collaboration with the Harassment counseling room to hold several types of workshops in the future. The second theme for this time is “International students and harassment.”
The second time focuses on issues related to international students commonly found in counseling on harassment. We discuss how to pick up distances from faculty members, etc., and the focus this time is on faculty-student harassment, and sexual harassment among students. Through simulated cases, we share information on points to be considered in response to faculty members, and information on guidance system/laboratory management, etc. to prevent international student harassment problems in advance.
