When it is decided that you take charge of class for the first time, a message comes from the university: “Please submit the syllabus during this month”. In that case, how should a syllabus be made? There are not many teachers who have an experience of writing it. In order to learn how to make a syllabus, that is, how to design, build and incorporate lessons, you can refer to university’s manuals and related books, or participate in a training like this one.
Being in charge of classes, you are also responsible for students’ learning. Learn through the practice the three basic elements of course design like setting course goals/objectives, evaluation and making lesson plans.
This workshop is an introductory course on creating a lesson syllabus for people who will be in charge of classes and those who may be doing so in a near future. A follow-up course, “Syllabus brush up training” (Advanced course) is also planned for December.
