Is scoring reports not taking a huge amount of time? Are you handing it back to students with scores? Are the criteria for scoring presentations clear? Can you give a clear answer to your students, if asked about your grading and evaluation methods?
By using what is called a rubric evaluation table that defines the viewpoints and criteria of evaluation without any unclearness, students can self-check their own performance and get a quick feedback. Why not using rubric evaluation to evaluate presentations, reports and group work among students?
In this workshop, you will learn basics of rubric evaluation creation through rubric creation experience, also some ways of putting it into practical use and introducing it into your own classroom. If you are already using it, please participate in the advanced course (Workshop on using Rubric Evaluation).
