Aim
In this Faculty Development Workshop, you will learn how to apply Project Management (PM) skills to educational and research activities using the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
By participating, you will learn how to plan logistics for cross-disciplinary projects, organize and manage your research, formulate accurate timeframes for project completion, and understand how to facilitate interactions within team projects.
Furthermore, these PM skills are also highly effective for projects that are carried out individually or in small groups, as well as for medium- to long-term business execution. Therefore, they are invaluable skills for all faculty, staff, and graduate students, regardless of the project’s size. We welcome the participation of people from different disciplines and backgrounds.
