It is not uncommon in Japan to hold international conferences that require giving presentations in English and opportunities to present research contents in English are increasing in many fields of science. If we cannot make a presentation that conveys to the audience, we cannot obtain further feedback through questioning and answering. However, there are not many opportunities to learn about how to make the presentation in English.

Therefore, we invited Mr. Jean Pierre Corbeil from ALC Press Inc. as a lecturer, and 2-day intensive seminar will be held to improve presentation skills in English.

Lecturer

Mr. David McClellan, ALC Press Inc.
David McClellan grew up in a small, culturally rich, city on the east coast of Canada. He joined ALC Press in 1993, and initially specialized in M.B.A. preparation courses. Since the late 1990’s, he has focused on providing highly effective business skills training to a broad range of Japanese and international clients. He teaches presentation, business writing, negotiation, meeting, teleconferencing, and case study classes, and his students benefit from his energy, intelligence, sense of humor, and commitment.

When applying, each applicant receives an automatic mail with a confirmation of the registration for an event. Please be aware that this is unrelated to the final acceptance of your event attendance.

In the event that the application exceeds the capacity limit, participants will be selected by a lot and results will be reported to all applicants.

We will inform you about the acceptance or rejection to the email address you entered on the application form. Therefore, please use a personal address, not a common address such as the one belonging to your department, etc.
