To stimulate students' learning motivation and implement classes that yield high learning effectiveness, the most important thing is to create a syllabus in advance. The role of educators is not just to teach and finish. It is required to support students' proactive learning and guide them toward the class objectives. As a paradigm shift is occurring from teacher-centered classes to student-centered classes, it can be said that it is difficult to think about classes from scratch without learning how to create a syllabus.
This workshop aims to teach how to create a syllabus (class) from the basics. Participants will learn how to describe the purpose of the class, set appropriate objectives, as well as the timing and methods of evaluations, including feedback, while applying this knowledge to the syllabi of the classes they will be responsible for in the future.
Please note that this workshop serves as an introductory training for syllabus creation, so those who have already learned how to create one and are practicing classes should participate in the advanced brush-up training.
