In research offices/labs, people from diverse backgrounds collaborate on various research activities. In such environments, there is a risk of harassment not only between faculty and students but also among students themselves. If harassment occurs within the office, it can lead to a variety of issues that hinder educational and research activities.
The victims are not limited to students; faculty members may also be subjected to harassment by students. In this seminar, we propose the development of an office policy as a measure to prevent harassment. By establishing guidelines for behavior in the office/lab, we aim to prevent harassment before it occurs.
In this session, we will introduce how to develop and implement such a policy, and participants will also have time to consider the guidelines themselves. By engaging in policy development and exchanging ideas with other participants, it is expected that participants will become aware of the various risks that may exist within research activities in the office/lab.
Why not take this opportunity to learn how developing effective office or lab policies can support smoother team management?

※Please note that photographs will be taken during the session for use in publicity activities and other promotional materials.
