There are many opinions, like: “What matters is the content of the presentation (research content), and presentation skills are not that important.”. Is that really the case? It is obvious that the contents should be good. However, no matter how strong the content is, if you cannot convey your thoughts effectively, you will not receive valuable feedback from other researchers, your work will not spread to others, and you may miss opportunities to secure funding.
Many people have experienced the challenge of communicating what they want to share in a limited time, such as during conference presentations. While practice can help improve your presentation to some extent, it is not enough to rely solely on getting accustomed to it.
To deliver an effective presentation, you need to acquire basic knowledge, skills, and proper preparation. This training will be conducted in a practical way. It introduces the necessary steps a presenter must take to create a presentation that clearly communicates their message. This training is designed for people who are not confident in their presentation skills and want to learn the basics. Participants will be required to prepare an oral presentation using slides or a poster.
※Please note that photographs will be taken during the session for use in publicity activities and other promotional materials.
