In recent years, globalization has led to a bigger number of foreign students at universities and it is expected that the number of classes in English will also increase.
However, there are many differences between talking in English and teaching, and points to be aware of for teachers without prior experience.
Therefore, we invited Todd Enslen from the Institute for Excellence in Higher Education at Tohoku University to hold a workshop on creating student-centered lessons by effectively using three aspects of culture, class management and language. It is one of the most popular workshops at Tohoku University.
