To stimulate students' motivation to learn and achieve high learning outcomes, it is crucial to meticulously develop the syllabus in advance. The role of teachers does not end with merely teaching. They are expected to support students' proactive learning and guide them toward the course objectives. As the paradigm shifts from teacher-centered to student-centered instruction, trying to design a course without learning how to create a syllabus can be extremely challenging.

The goal of this workshop is to learn the basics of how to create an effective syllabus (course). Participants will learn how to write the course objectives, set appropriate learning outcomes, plan evaluations and feedback timing, and design the course schedule. This will be done by applying the principles to the syllabi of the courses participants will be teaching in the future.

Please note that this workshop serves as an introductory session on syllabus creation. Those who have already learned syllabus creation and have teaching experience are encouraged to participate in the advanced workshop for further refinement.
※The advanced syllabus refinement seminar is scheduled to be held in January next year.

※ Please note that photographs will be taken during the session for use in publicity activities and other promotional materials.
