授業に対する学生の理解度確認や学生と教員あるいは学生同士のインタラクティブな授業を行うため，学生に質問を投げかけ発言を促す教員は少なくありません。
しかしながら，高等教育研修センターに寄せられる教員からの相談の中には，学生に発言を促してもなかなか出てこないといった内容がしばしば見られます。
そこで，滋賀県立大学人間文化学部の木村裕准教授を講師に招き，学生の思考を深め，発言を促すような問いかけを行うための「問いのたて方」や学習環境のあり方などについて学び，そのような授業づくりについて考えるためのワークショップを開催いたします。

How can we develop lessons with effective questioning and learning environment?

To make lesson more interactive and make students cooperate with each other, it is not uncommon for teachers to check the degree of students’ understanding and encourage them to ask questions and give remarks.
However, some faculty members consulted Center for Teaching and Learning about students’ question answering in a classroom. It is quite common that students are hesitant to share their opinions when they are prompted to speak.
Therefore, we invited Professor Yutaka KIMURA (a teacher of Humanities faculty from the University of Shiga Prefecture) to held a workshop on how to create a lesson environment that helps deepening students’ thinking and promotes students’ activeness, also on how to ask questions that encourage students to express their opinions.
