「私の担当科目は内容が難しく，なかなか学生に興味をもってもらえない」「学生のやる気が低いので，どれだけ授業を工夫しても報われない」などと考えていませんでしょうか。授業の成立には教員，学生，学習環境の三要因が影響を及ぼしています。たとえ学習環境の改善や教員の授業方法の向上を行っても，受講生の学びを直接コントロールすることはできません。同じ授業を受けてもある学生は多くのことを学び，他の学生は何も学ぶことはなかったと言うかもしれません。
受講生の学習動機は非常に多様であり，各授業時にはポジティブな学習動機もネガティブな学習動機も同時に併せ持っていると考えられます。本講演会では，学習動機の多様性を把握した上で，教員としてどのような対応をすべきかについてお話しします。

Dealing with diverse learning motivation (Lecture)

Don’t you sometimes think: “My course is difficult to understand, so it is hard for students to get interested in it” or “Despite all my efforts to plan a class, it doesn’t pay off and students’ motivation is still low”?
Three factors are affecting the formation of a class: teacher, students, and learning environment. You can improve the teaching methods, and learning environment, but you cannot control students’ learning directly. Therefore, some students who took the same course may say that they learned a lot, while others may say that they have not learned anything.
The learning motivation of the students is very diverse, and it is considered that both positive and negative learning motivation are simultaneously carried on each class. This lecture will talk about how to deal with the diversity of learning motivation as a faculty member.
