近年は留学生の増加や大学のグローバル化対応に伴い，英語による授業の増加が期待されています。
しかしながら，英語で会話をするのと授業をするのでは注意すべき点等，異なるところもあり，経験のない教員にとっては難しい課題も多いことと思います。また当然ながら，授業を英語で行えば良いだけではなく，学生の理解や英語での発言を促して学びを促進することも求められます。
そこで，英語で授業を行う際の注意点等を考え，これから英語で授業を行おうとしている教員のためのワークショップを開催します。

In recent years, globalization has led to a bigger number of foreign students at Hokkaido University and it is expected that the number of classes in English will also increase.
However, teaching multicultural classrooms in English may be difficult for teachers with no prior experience, so there are some points to be considered and things to be aware of when taking this responsibility. Naturally, teaching in English also involves other things, such as encouraging students to speak and include themselves in class discussion.
Therefore, we will hold a workshop for faculty members who are planning to teach classes in English. The purpose of the workshop is to share and discuss ideas, best practices on teaching in multicultural classrooms.
