研究のアウトリーチ活動の幅を広げるためには，英語によるプレゼンテーション能力が重要な一つの要素です。また，日本国内においても英語でのプレゼンテーションが求められるような国際学会等の開催は増え続けています。
そこで，北海道大学高等教育研修センターでは，英語によるアカデミック・プレゼンテーションの基礎を学ぶことのできる講演と，実際に今年度英語でプレゼンテーションを行う予定のある教員を対象とした少人数グループトレーニングプログラムを提供し，大学教員のプレゼンテーション能力の向上に貢献いたします。
実践編では，５月下旬から７月までの間で４回グループレッスンの機会を設定し，実際に発表で使用するプレゼン資料のチェックからプレゼンの指導までを行います。

Practice of academic presentations in English
One of the most important elements in order to extend the reach of your research is to have presentation skills in English. In addition, the number of international conferences held in Japan is steadily increasing and English presentation skills are becoming important.
Therefore, in the Hokkaido University Center for Teaching and Learning, a training program in small groups on basics of academic presentations in English is offered for teaching staff. The purpose is to contribute to the improvement of presentation skills of the university faculty members who plan to make presentations in English during this year.

Teaching staff belonging to higher education institutions who plan to make presentations in English during this year (around 8 people chosen by lot)

Program

Individual guidance and group lessons (please bring the material you want to use during your actual presentation). One time takes 90 minutes.
