大学のグローバル化に伴い，多くの留学生が日本の大学で教育を受けるようになりました。それに伴い，シラバスを英語で書くことが求められるようになってます。北海道大学では，平成35年度に学部授業シラバスの50％，大学院授業シラバスの100％を英語で公開することを目標として掲げています。
そこで，大阪大学全学教育推進機構の佐藤浩章准教授を講師に招き，国際社会で通用するシラバスの書き方を学び，実際に各自のシラバスを英語で作成するためのワークショップを開催いたします。

Workshop on creating syllabus in English
Recently, with increasing globalization of Japanese universities, a lot of international students receive an education in Japan. It has become a requirement to provide foreign students with a syllabus in English. At Hokkaido University, we have set a goal to make English syllabus available for 50% of the undergraduate courses, and 100% of the graduate school courses, by the year 2023.
Hence, Hokkaido University Center for Teaching and Learning invited Associate Professor Hiroaki SATO from the Center for Education in Liberal Arts and Sciences at Osaka University as a guest lecturer. During the workshop, you will learn how to create syllabus in English and how to make it appropriate for an international community.
